CHAPTER 15

Reflection:
      A class that effectively employs project-based multimedia learning is highly animated and actively engaged. Together w/other students, every student is absorbed in task in line w/ the goals and objectives made clear at the start. Teacher does not just stay in front of the class lecturing. She monitors students as they work. Students consult her for guidance and comments. She does not impose her will on students. With her guidance, she allows students to make decisions for themselves. 
       Through this,the student’s intellectual powers are very much challenged as they read, research for basic information and as they analyze and organize these bits of information.

Maximizing the Use of the Overhead Projector and the Chalkboard

             Overhead projector and chalkboard are the things that commonly used by the teacher. This two plays a vital role in teaching. 
            This are the instructional materials which help the teacher in presenting his or her lesson. Through this the teacher can show to his or her students his lesson. This are important because this add an emphasis which can help of learners to learn better the lesson.

Teaching with Visual Symbols

                Visual symbols are graphic representation of a certain lesson, in a process, or in an organization. This are commonly used by the teacher in presenting their lesson.
                Visual symbols is such a summary of something. It is used by the teacher in order to the students to easily learn the lesson. Indeed this symbols is very important and it helps the students to leran the concept of the lesson better.

The Power of Film, Video, and TV in the Classroom

               Teachers have long used the media and particularly film to accomplish various instructional objectives such as building background for particular topics or motivating student reaction and analysis. 
              Power video and film put the students into real world. Even if you are not on the actual scene, but you feel that you were there. This is also important to use inside the classroom because this can add more meaningful to the teaching and learning process. Indeed, we must use these things for the better teaching of our lesson.

Making the Most of Community Resources and Field Trips

              Field trips are recognized as important moments in learning. It is a shared social experience that provides the opportunity for students to encounter and explore novel things in an authentic setting.

              Field trip is one of the activities that is used by the teachers in order their students to really experience and explore the lesson. Through this, we can learn more and we can gain a lot of experience. Field trip is fun. We can learn at the same time, we enjoy. Always remember that as we experience, we learn more.

CHAPTER 10: DEMONSTRATION TEACHING




Reflection:

      Demonstration is an action that shows how a thing is being done. It involves the process of speaking through facing with the audience.

      Through demonstration, we can understand well the lesson or the thing that is being teach or demonstrated. It is also important that the demonstrator must know everything about what he or she demonstrated. This experience can also contributes learning to the learners.

CHAPTER 9: TEACHING WITH DRAMATIZED EXPERIENCE


Reflection:

         Dramatization is also used by some of the teachers. It also helps the learners to have a better understanding of the lesson. some of the teachers use the play and pantomime. But dramatization needs time to practice.

           Teaching with dramatization can make students used their kinesthetic skills  or  bodily movement. This can help and enhance our learning. 
CHAPTER 8: TEACHING WITH CONTRIVED EXPERIENCES

Reflection:

        Contrived experience is the second level of Dale's Cone of Experience which is deliberately create and edited copies of reality.
          Through contrived experience, we can understand better certain lessons or things. We can also access those impossible things. This experience can increase our ability to  apply certain simulation. It can also contribute to the teaching learning process.  
CHAPTER 7: DIRECT PURPOSEFUL EXPERIENCE

Reflection:

        Direct purposeful experience is the first hand experience. This is the foundation of our learning. Here we can use our 5 senses because this is a sensory experience.

         Direct purposeful experience can make us developed our higher critical thinking skills. This can also make us to become independent learner. But there are instances that we can misinterpret those things that are new to us
CHAPTER 6: USING AND EVALUATING INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS


Reflection:
      The materials that is being presented by the teacher must be appropriate to the age, intelligence, and experience of the learner. it must contribute meaningful content to the learner and it must also help the teacher to achieve the objectives.

        In order for that things to attain, there must be a proper use of materials. The teacher must first prepare herself, prepare his/her students, present the materials, and there must be a follow-up after. Those are the proper way of using the materials.

         The teacher must prepare in order to have a good presentation. 

CHAPTER 5: CONE OF EXPERIENCE

Reflection:

      Cone of Experience was developed by Edgar Dale. According to this cone of experience, there are 11 levels of experience that a person experience. It begins with direct-purposeful experience.

           In every level, you will gain a lot of knowledge as you experience them. As what they have said that experience is the best teacher. Experience is being highlighted here.   




CHAPTER 4: SYSTEMATIC APPROACH TO TEACHING

Reflection:

      Teaching follows a definite process. There is a step by step process. That is why it is called systematic.


        In teaching, the teacher must have to follow the systematic approach in order for his or her class to be organized. It is very important for the teacher to follow the procedures. Through following the procedures, the teacher can make the teaching learning process organized.
CHAPTER 3: THE ROLE OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY IN  LEARNING
Reflection: 


        Technology is very useful to us. It helps us easy to make our projects and assignments.
         
        As students, technology serves as a teacher at the same time a partner. It serves as a teacher in a way that through technology, we can get a lot of information coming from the internet. It serves as a partner when the teacher give projects to be made with the use of the computer or technology we have today. Technology has an importance in the teaching learning process.

                                   CHAPTER 2: TECHNOLOGY BOON OR BANE







Reflection:


           Technology is more of boon than a bane as it offers many different advantages and disadvantages. It depends on how a person uses the technology that is being given to the user and how the user puts the technology to proper use.


 Technology is very useful but there are instances that this can destroy our life. Example of technology includes social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. People can also advertise for their business on such sites as many people uses them and it will attract attention from the users from that sites. People also can connect with their friends locally or globally on such social networking sites as they are easily accessible via smartphones or computers that are widely used. By using this site users can add friends that they know and they can also share about things that are happening or updating their statuses. Thus the friend that they add will be able to read and get the latest information on what their friends are doing.


          That is why, we the user of the technology must use it in a good way not in a bad way. We must use it in a proper way.

Reflection:

Technology is very important in our daily life. It is useful in all aspects such as in business, education and others. In education, this technology can help students to get more information and through that they can learn a lot of information about a certain terms.

In the previous years, technology was not yet developed. But as years passed by, it began to develop. Nowadays we use technology that is much better than the technology we had before. We should be thankful of it.
